Detective Conan Live Action



Is anyone watching the live action that's currently airing? I just saw a preview of the next episode (video embedded above) and Heiji and Kazuha make an entrance! The writers of this live action are just on top of everything character wise.









Anyways! Who else is watching this live action right now?? What are your thoughts??

This is airing already?? Ah man, I thought it was going to be next year or something! I totally have to catch up on it now. <3

Yep! They're on episode 8 already! I suspect that the drama won't be more than 13 episodes, though, since that's the normal hence of a jdrama :(

No, and the thing is that I do watch a lot of jdramas and kdramas *sigh*, so thank you!

I kinda stopped caring after the first special, but Heiji is played by Tori! I need to play catch up now.

Who's Tori??

The 3rd SP is really good! The actual drama (2011) has the same cast as the 3rd SP, and I think they definitely do a better job at bringing in the original characters! The drama even have Takagi and Sato!

He played Shinken Red in Shinkenger (when I was still watching Power Rangers, anyway). He's pretty good considering he's quite new in show business. I'm so happy he's getting shows. :D

I looked him up and woowww he's actually tanner as Heiji! I'm glad he's embracing Heiji's character lol. Hopefully he can pull off the Kansaiben

I haven't seen any of the new live-action drama. Is it a prequel, as was speculated?

It's a prequel that takes place before Shinichi turns into Conan, yeah.... Which makes no sense because Heiji doesn't meet Shinichi until he's Conan, but I'm not complaining as long as I get to see Heiji and Kazuha lol.

An honoured you used the screenshots montage i screencapped while watching the web version of the preview :D Tori might be new in the acting business from 2009 but hes number 4 on the top artist to break ( as in become big ) in 2011 , Tori actucally got me obsessed with Heiji character now am watching the anime and fanvideos everywhere , He said he found the accent very difficult but as i know Tori he will defo pull it off

If you do get into being a Matsuzaka Tori fan after the episode i recommend Clone Baby :D

Haha Heiji is a pretty fun character in the series so I'm glad they're including him in the live action! All I know is that Tori was the red ranger lol.
